Community Gardens Gathering: A Day of Connection and Growth

This past Saturday, 18th October 2025, brought something really special to our neighbourhood. Community Gardens Australia hosted the 2025 Community Gardens Gathering right at the Glenelg North Community Centre. And with our garden just around the corner, we couldn't resist getting involved.

It was wonderful to collaborate with everyone and open our gates to the stream of visitors who came through. We guided multiple tours throughout the day, showing off what we've been growing and, more importantly, learning from the diverse perspectives and experiences of fellow gardeners. There's something magical about sharing your garden with people who truly appreciate the work that goes into it.

One of the highlights of the day was having Costa visit our garden. As a gardening superstar, Costa brought energy and enthusiasm that perfectly captured what this gathering was all about. It's about sharing knowledge, enthusiasm, and supporting each other through the growing season and beyond. And it's about creating spaces where people can connect, collaborate, and grow together. We can't wait to see what the next gathering brings.
