Another successful sausage sizzle

Our Sunday 10th August fundraiser at Bunnings Adelaide Airport went better than expected. We set up at 9am and ran until 5pm, with the busiest period hitting around lunchtime when we nearly ran out of sausages.

The queue was steady all morning, but lunch brought a real rush. By 2:30pm we were down to our last bag of sausages with three hours left to go. A quick supply run sorted that out, and we finished the day having sold over 400 sausages plus drinks.

The funds will go toward garden improvements like wicking beds, shade cloths, tools, and our community education programs. Thanks to Bunnings Adelaide Airport for hosting us and providing the opportunity to fundraise, and to everyone who bought a sausage and the volunteers who kept things running smoothly.

Good result all round.
